Hi. I’m Brett.
I’m a writer, editor, and jack-of-most-trades. In past lives, I worked as a bike courier, taught Homer to high-schoolers, moonlighted as a vegetable mascot for a hospital, repaired old homes and furniture, ran a small soup-kitchen, and did doctoral research into 20th-century mystics.
These days, I work on questions (and sometimes problems) concerning strategy and communications. I’m based in Durham, North Carolina, but work with folks from all over the place and across industries: businesses, artists, galleries, musicians, non-profits, and universities.
If that’s of interest to you, you can learn more about what I do under work. You can learn some more about clients and other work in my portfolio. Just let me know if you’re interested, and I’d be glad to give you access. If that’s not of interest to you, you’ll find a lovely photo of my old cat there.
