I’m a freelance writer and strategist with a specific interest in the arts, culture, and education. I’m comfortable wearing a number of hats: bylines and web copy, press kits, exhibition materials, speeches. Whatever the the immediate ask is, I have a knack for helping clients figure out what they want to say, and to whom.

In past lives, I worked as a bike courier, taught Dante to high-schoolers, made furniture, ran a small soup-kitchen, and did doctoral research into 20th-century mystics. I’m based in Durham, North Carolina, but work with folks from all over:  businesses, artists, galleries, musicians, non-profits, and universities. You can learn more under work.
